Whole-home rebates are available to customers installing a qualifying, high-efficiency heat pump as their sole source of heating and cooling. Your home must also be adequately weatherized, with the verification form completed and signed. Even if you’re ineligible for the whole-home rebate, investing in weatherization can qualify partial-rebate customers for an additional $500 bonus.

In order to receive a full or partial rebate for your new heat pump, there are a few conditions you’ll have to fulfill. The program is designed to offer assistance to residents who would benefit most from energy efficiency upgrades.

Rebate Eligibility Requirements

• Rebates through the Mass Save program are only valid for residents of Massachusetts serviced by the following utilities:
  • Berkshire Gas
  • Cape Light Compact
  • Eversource
  • Liberty Utilities
  • National Grid
  • or Unitil
• Equipment must be new and installed by a participating contractor like Aspinwall Plumbing & Heating
• The specific model must be listed on the Qualified Products List
